Is it ok to start building our house during the rainy season, specifically around August or September this year? I'm worried that it's already La Nina season and it's pretty much raining every day. What's the effect on the pouring of concrete, foundation? As much as I want to postpone, our bank housing loan has been approved and loan proceeds must be released within 1 year. If we postpone, we won't meet the 1 year deadline. I may have to reapply if we don't avail of the loan immediately. There was a lot of negotiation done just to get favorable loan terms.
Our contractor says it can be done (building during rainy season) but of course, they may be biased.
