I was able to watch some of the few segments of this earlier's proclamation of Duterte and Robredo, with the latter obviously winning due to Necropolitics. One of the news items there contained what they call similarities between our soon to be President and VP. One of their similarities mentioned was that they are both "Advocate of Women". Now I don't know why new networks are still making a big deal out of this and this day and age or why candidates and politicians are still including this in their platforms or belief systems. SERIOUSLY? It's not like our country is Saudi Arabia or something.
Sa panahon ngayon - Ano pa ba kailangan ipaglaban ng mga kababaihan sa Pinas? WALA NA. KALOKOHAN ang mga nagsasabing kailangan pa. Papogi lang ang gusto mo ng politicians na ito.
Edukasyon? - Hell fvcking no. Statistics say mas maraming babaeng nakakapag tapos ng high school and college, and the government seem to be turning a blind eye on this.
More women in government positions? - asan na ang demokrasya kung ganun? I thought people have the power to choose who they want as their leaders?
Violence against women? - Jusme kelangan pa ba ipaglaban ito? na sa panahon ngayon, sigawan lang ang babae eh nariyan na ang Gabriela at ipaglalaban na ikulong ka. This one's a joke. Ano ito gusto pa nila dagdagan ng few more laws to protect women? you gotta be kidding me.
Health care? - how much does the Government spend in treating diseases and cancers that are only prevalent in males, and compare that to that of its expenses for treatment of women only diseases and cancer. I'm sure the latter is bigger.
Prostitution and Human trafficking? - Well, ito ang nag-uugat sa kahirapan. Tanggalin ang kahirapan at mawawala ito. Besides, hindi lang naman mga babae and biktima nito, even young males are exploited by perverted homosexuals.
Saka dapat instead of saying "Advocate of Women", why shouldn't they say "Advocate of Social Equality" instead? That way it not only pertains of empowerment of EVERY Filipino people regardless of their gender, ethnic group, social status etc. I'm fvcking SICK na masyadong BINE-BABY ang mga kababaihan sa Pinas at masyadong ginagawang big deal kung ang politician ay ganoon.....at kung mga lalaki ang dehado, the government always seem to turn a blind eye....kasi walang makukuha pogi points sa pagtulong sa lalaki. KALOKOHAN.
FEMINISM nowadays is a fcking joke and full of HYPOCRISY. SERIOUSLY.
Wala na dapat ipaglaban. This has got to stop. Now.
