SAP seeks Regional Data Operations Analyst responsible for the quality and integrity of corporate information supporting sales processes. The individual is responsible to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs as it relates specifically to data related to company and person. Typically works with data contained in the following systems: Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area with at least 2 years of experience in the data management field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Must possess excellent written and verbal skills and has the ability to communicate effectively. They also need to be detail-oriented, have good problem solving skills and research skills and understand the importance and benefits of data quality. The ideal candidate will have some project management and business process improvement skills.
Work Task /Descriptions
A. Directs and coordinates the input of data and related data quality efforts for use in the CRM system
B. Works with Global DQ Team to drive solutions with CRM and other related systems
C. Works with internal customers to address data needs
D. Ability To Troubleshoot and Identify Data Issues
E. Define data quality procedures to ensure data consistency
F. Troubleshoots any errors that may occur as a result of data input
G. Participates and/or directs the creation and approval of policies related to the maintenance of data in the system
H. Creates processes to verify data quality from end users, approves changes, performs internal and external compliance checks, and audits the data input into the system
I. Assists in developing processes and procedures with other business functions to ensure an understanding of data input
J. Responsible for developing and maintaining metrics related to integrity and response to data requests
K. Perform checks and audits of data to ensure data is accurate and complete
L. Perform training as required to educate the business community
M. Analyze, document and present recommendations for enhancing current business processes through enhanced use of CRM business systems and information technology
N. Leverages data quality tools to maintain required updates
O. Provide issue and problem resolution tracking
P. Prepare status reports for open projects and issues and review with management on a routine basis
Competencies / Requirements:
A. A bachelor's degree in related field preferred
B. 2+ years of experience in data management field
C. Knowledge of Data Quality Management and techniques
D. 2+ years of data quality experience
E. Strong analytical skills
F. Strong written and verbal communication skills
G. Advanced Excel skills
H. Ability to work in fast-paced environment and managing competing deadlines
I. SAP CRM systems experience preferred
J. Strong English proficiency
