Job Description
This position is for the DTS Connect: Direct (NDM) Support team.
The team supports the NDM Distributed (Unix and Windows) environments as well as the Mainframe NDM nodes.
As a part of the Support team, this position will be responsible for maintaining NDM configurations, ensuring compliance with NDM standards, and the defining and improvement of team processes and procedures.
This position will work with the Sterling Control Center product to manage and monitor the Distributed environment.
This position will interface with our internal and external trading partners to resolve issues, process configuration requests and certificate renewals, work on NDM related projects and general NDM inquiries.
This position does have periodic on-call responsibilities.
The DTS Enterprise NDM team currently supports over 6700 NDM nodes in the Distributed environment, with over 9 million transactions per month, as well as all the NDM Mainframe nodes with over 4.5 million transactions per month.
This position is centric to the Connect: Direct Distributed environment but experience with the Mainframe environment is a plus
Profile
3+ years of technical experience with Windows/Unix/Linux Operating Systems
3+ years of experience with configuration, management, and troubleshooting the Connect: Direct application
Must be a graduate of a 4 year course, preferably in technology related programs
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent knowledge of SSL handshaking and encryption technologies
Demonstrated ability to partner across the organization with both technical and non-technical partners
Proven capability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities
Candidates must have experience with Sterling Control Center
Must demonstrate understanding of network connectivity, firewalls and routers, mainframe and knowledge in scripting
NDM process creation and support experience
Must be able to work with remote teammates, and self-starter in a fast paced environment
Candidates must be willing to work at night, or in rotating shifts and schedules
Must be amenable to work in McKinley, Taguig
