Reports Developer (iJasper Reports) - Makati


Responsibilities:
 Understand and suggest improvements to technical specifications provided by immediate superior and define program structure and general logic
 Code program logic and perform unit test to ensure all functions of the program perform according to requirements
 Prepare technical documentation related to programs developed
 Assist in performing system test and debug/fix errors encountered
 Assist in conversion preparation by preparing conversion programs and checking converted data
 Assist in post conversion support by debugging/fixing errors or assisting users in the use of the system
 Assist in other segments of a system development or implementation project as required. This may include assistance in hardware/software setup, data gathering, requirements specification, procedures development, and user training
 Assist in the maintenance of Management Systems
 Support of existing systems

Qualifications:
 At least 3-4 years of related work experience.
 Able to communicate effectively with people of different cultures
 Able to investigate, identify and propose solutions to system problems
 Able to understand programming tools and methodologies
 Able to understand, develop and execute database scripts
 Able to create technical documentations based on gathered requirements
 Able to improve on existing design
Experience/Technical Knowledge

Tools used per team
 Reports
 Jasper Reports
 Oracle PL/SQL (at least 10g) or MS SQL Server (at least 2005)
 Business Objects Reporting tools (Crystal Reports, Desktop Intelligence, Designer, Web Intelligence, Universe Builder)
or
 Oracle Reporting tools (Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle XML Publisher, Oracle CRM on Demand) Business Intelligence knowledge is a plus
