Last Tuesday, Jan.19, 2016, in the morning as per routine when I took to login to Bpiexpressonline.com, to see the latest balance figures of my Bpi investment funds, it returned the message:
You had 3 invalid attempts. For your security, your access to BPI Express Online has been disabled. If you have forgotten your password, please click 'Reset Your Password' and activate in any BPI ATM.
The fact is that I had not yet made three invalid logins, only one; then only after that one failure, a second attempt and a third, and a fourth, all met with the same message above.
So, I went to the neighborhood Bpi branch, and with the assistance of the customers service personnel, got my password reset into a new password
When I got home, I tried it, and it worked!
Next day Wednesday it still worked with the new password.
But today, Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at the start of the day I took as per routine to login, horror of horrors, Bpiexpressonline.com returned now again the same message:
You had 3 invalid attempts. For your security, your access to BPI Express Online has been disabled. If you have forgotten your password, please click 'Reset Your Password' and activate in any BPI ATM.
I had already 3 invalid attempts? The fact is that I had just made a first attempt, but the message says I have used up three invalid attempts; I did several attempts just the same afterwards, they all returned the same message.
So, back to the local Bpi branch again, and the Relationship Manager there told me to do the login with a branch computer, I did it and it returned also the same message:
You had 3 invalid attempts. For your security, your access to BPI Express Online has been disabled. If you have forgotten your password, please click 'Reset Your Password' and activate in any BPI ATM.
What about doing the lengthly reset routine a second time? Most probably it would work but only for one day and a half; on the other hand, I really want to know from the Bpi software technicians their explanation for my trouble, this has never happened to me before, namely, with only one login and correctly at that, the error message comes forth with the notice that I have made already three invalid logins, and I have to reset my password to a new one.
So, I left the Relationship Manager with the plea to her to contact the Bpi technicians in charge of Bpiexpressonline login program, for an explanation.
What do you say, Kuya Danny, and also guys here who might know some useful information?
