Hi! OAMPI Inc. is currently looking for Air Ticketing Agents!!
Starting Salary: 28K (gross)
Schedule: Shifting (Midshift to Graveyard)
Primary Responsibilities:
Build and Ticket offline airline reservations for Member base as needed
Utilize excellent customer service skills to assist members in resolving issues with their travel arrangements promptly.
Perform ticket exchanges, refunds and name changes and PNR corrections.
Service members with a high level of professionalism in all communications via phone, chat, email and queued records.
Handle frequent schedule changes and airline misconnections
Maintain queues assigned for job responsibilities and personal agent queues for automated QC & schedule changes to adhere all tickets issued by ticketing time limit.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience as a Travel Agent or Airline Ticketing Agent with knowledge of a GDS system
Proficiency in GDS booking tool, specifically Amadeus and Worldspan
Able to start January, 2016
Available to work on a flexible schedule: 24/7 including holidays
Punctual and committed to work schedules
Excellent active listening and communication skills, verbal and written English. Secondary language is an advantage.
Speak clearly and committed to exceed expectations
Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills with pleasant/articulate phone voice and enthusiastic nature
Must have analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
Excellent typing skills, at least 40 WPM
Ability to multi-task and resolve customer issues to the highest satisfaction
Demonstrated ability to work in a structured fast paced environment
Able to operate multiple customer service support platforms and computer applications
Candidate must be a strong decision maker, target questions and anticipate needs of each customer / Member.
Candidate must be Customer Service Oriented
Positive and professional demeanor
Proactive and open for skills improvement
Ability and willingness to learn new software programs.
Strong understanding of fare construction.
Extensive use and knowledge of airline policies and fare rules.
Extensive knowledge of international routings with a multitude of airline combinations.
Ability to work successfully in a deadline driven environment communicating with teammates to accomplish goals.
Education:
High School Degree Required
Experience in a multicultural environment.
Travel Certificate Preferred
Experience:
3+ years of Travel Agency/ Airport and/or GDS experience
5+ years of Customer Service experience. Contact center preferred
Certain 2nd Language skills a plus
