Lipsation Patients need to be off all aspirin containing medications, vitamin E, fish oil, and ibuprofen for 2 weeks since these medications increase bruising if you get filler injections. If you are on Plavix or aspirin because of heart disease, it is best not to discontinue these, but just plan on a bruise that could last 7 days. A bruise is preferable to a stroke or heart attack from stopping your medication.
